Article Processing Charge

MedScience Journals publisher is an Open Access and all articles published in our journals are freely available online, immediately upon publication. We do not receive funding from any institution/government. Hence, the operations of the Journals which includes paying to Editorial Assistant, DOI maintenance, web maintenance, PDF building of articles, abstracting and indexing services and other infrastructural facilities too are solely depends on authors contribution and some academic/corporate sponsors. Authors from various countries will be charged differently according to the World Bank income classification. Article Processing Charges are only made if an article is accepted for publication.

Upon acceptance of an article the corresponding author/authors of the paper are responsible for making or arranging the payment. The agreed Article Processing Charges payable for the paper will not change in between of the publication process. The authors may pay the Article Processing Charge by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. If you have any questions regarding payment, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We provide discount and waiver facility for the authors on the following bases:

• The quality of data interpretation and analysis.
• The methods used for analysis.
• Uniqueness of the manuscript development objective
• Ethical aspects consideration of the manuscript.

MedScience Journals do provide discount to authors for articles on a case-by-case basis. There is no charge for the authors if they wish to withdraw their manuscript from initial stages of processing. However, the author needs to pay 50% of the publication fee after 7 days of the submission and full amount as withdrawal charge if the article accepted for publication. This amount will be utilized to compensate the costs incurred during the process and publication. Once the fee paid will not be refunded at any situation as the MedScience Journals publishes articles under Open Access platform, fee paid by the authors will be spent towards the costs associated with the process and publication.

No submission charges

The journal works with a protocol of no charges as a submission fee. APCs only apply to articles accepted for publication and there are no other hidden charges for publishing The manuscripts are submitted free of charge. In case of acceptance, an Article Processing Fee (APF) will be charged to cover the costs incurred in different facets.

If an author has inability to pay APC, we assist the authors with waivers in APC. The authors based in the World Bank list of low income and lower-middle-income countries are eligible for a fee waiver.

There are no charges for rejected article, and no surcharges based on the figures or supplementary data.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Author may wish to withdraw his manuscript after submitting it to Med Science Journals. To withdraw a manuscript, we do not charge any fee, only if he/she withdraws it within 2 days from the submission date.

If an author withdraws manuscript after acceptance of the article, then he/she will be asked to pay partial processing fee, and every manuscript submission costs us ( Med Science Journals ) certain amount along with overhead cost during processing. Manuscripts peer review process is completed (which can often happen within a week), and it has been worked into a journal issue, we have incurred costs on our end that need to be reimbursed.
