Dr. Beata Boczkowska is a Senior Scientist at Pelican Therapeutics in San Antonio, Texas. Previously, Beata was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Texas Biomedical Research Institute, San Antonio Texas. Responsible for overseeing the related activities for the molecular and immune understanding of the mechanism of defective viral genomes during Ebola virus persistent infection. She has completed her PhD. in Virology and Immunology and MSc. in Pathobiology from University of Guelph, Guelph, Canada. During her PhD. She published a paper on: Investigation of immunological aspects of Nipah virus infection in vivo: Development of assays to test cell mediated and innate immune response. She has publsihed many research articles in the areas of Virology and Immunology.
